Payment methods let you pay for orders. You can set up multiple payment methods and choose which one to use for each order.

Available payment methods

FikaPay supports three payment methods:
You can have multiple payment methods set up and choose which one to use for each order. One payment method can be set as your default.

Setting up a payment method

To add a payment method:
  1. Go to your account settings or payment methods section
  2. Click “Add Payment Method”
  3. Choose the type (PayTo, Card, or BECS)
  4. Enter the required details:
    • PayTo: Authorise the payment agreement
    • Card: Enter card number, expiry, and CVV
    • BECS: Enter bank account details (BSB and account number)
  5. Save your payment method
PayTo and Card are faster if you need to pay immediately. BECS is useful for recurring orders or when you prefer direct debit.

Managing payment methods

You can:
  • Set a default — Choose which payment method is used by default
  • Update details — Change payment method information
  • Remove methods — Delete payment methods you no longer need
Make sure at least one payment method is active so you can pay for orders. If you remove all payment methods, you won’t be able to complete payments.

Payment method status

Payment methods can have different statuses:
  • Active — Ready to use for payments
  • Pending — Being set up or verified
  • Failed — Setup failed or expired
Check your payment method status if you’re having trouble making payments.
